As a Social Media Strategist you’re the person that helps us discover, imagine and bring to life creative ideas on social channels. You’re right for this if you get excited about big ideas and using social to solve brand challenges.
Role:
- Social media campaign ideation (and collaborating with teams in this ideation).
- Support trends monitoring (having your finger on the pulse of social).
- Presenting/creating enthusiasm for social ideas.
- Developing plans that define social objectives, content topics/themes, channel strategies, boosting strategies, and publishing calendars.
- Conducting social media audits that analyze past social efforts or competitive activities.
- Support social media management and working with the team to create/schedule/post assets.
- Social reporting and creating the big picture story/recommendation around what that data is telling us.
Requirements:
- You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experienced with creative concepting/ideation for social efforts.
- You shine within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong presentation skills (internally & externally) to create excitement for social ideas/recommendations/plans.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to educate others about what’s happening in social. You’re good at explaining the “why” behind social recommendations/decisions/ideas.
- Strong writing skills for creating presentations/plans and for creating or providing direction for social posts.
- Comfortable working with social tools like Sprout & Hootsuite, and collaboration tools like Figma.
- Excellent time-management and communication skills.
